Mark McGray - President
Mark has worked in Window Manufacturing and Residential & Commercial Construction for over 30 years. He successfully carried out his journeyman carpenter apprenticeship with a local home builder prior to joining the Millcraft team. Mark spent five years at Millcraft Systems – three years in the capacity of Vice President / Shop Foreman, and the remainder as an Industrial Woodworker, perfecting his carpentry expertise. He then ventured out on his own and operated MM Building Design Ltd. while developing his knowledge of home renovations, custom building and general contracting, becoming a Master Builder and highly skilled project manager.
Since the acquisition of Millcraft Systems Inc. in 1999 and the formation of Millcraft Construction & Renovations Inc., he has been President and incorporated his sound marketing, administrative and building expertise into methodical development and growth of the business and client base. Mark has three children (2 of them presently working at Millcraft) and lives in Waterdown.
Gudrun Sigurdsson - Admin / Accounting
Gudrun joined Millcraft in September of 2011, bringing 28 years of experience in customer service and office administration. The previous 11 years she worked in the window and door industry with prior employers Arcor, Roundtop, Geo and Dorplex in various roles. Gudrun is primarily responsible for keeping the office flowing smooth as well as managing purchasing and accounting.
Lauren Malek - Customer Service / Marketing
Lauren joined Millcraft in August of 2012 in our vinyl bending operations. Lauren spent a year in the shop where she gained considerable experience in the production of our shapes, and then she moved into the office in August of 2013. Lauren graduated from the Business program at Mohawk College in April of 2015 and she now coordinates Millcraft’s deliveries & shipments, and works in customer service, office administration and marketing.
Scott Robb - Vice President
Scott is a journeyman carpenter with a proven track record of residential, commercial building & renovation expertise. Scott apprenticed while working for a local construction company for four years and then after a short period as a carpenter with another builder he joined Mark at MM Building Design for approximately 3 years. Scott then formed his own company Alpine Construction and continued to work together with Mark on projects as well as many of his own home renovations and custom building projects.
When Millcraft Construction was formed, Scott worked as a full time subcontractor and utilized his carpentry expertise and project management skills on many complex construction projects. Scott became a shareholder in November 2001 and as Vice President has used his knowledge and experience to manage projects encompassing mid-range renovations to major building. Scott has been married for over 15 years, has 2 children and lives in Guelph.
Tyler McGray - Operations Manager
Tyler joined Millcraft Systems as an apprentice carpenter from our Construction division in January 2009. He has helped to lead the vinyl team through the continuous changes, expansion and often very rapid growth of our vinyl operation over the last few years. Tyler is responsible for daily vinyl and wood shop production, ensuring quick product delivery along with top quality standards, as we prove that we are the leader in the geometric shaped vinyl window and door industry.
Craig Johnstone – Wood Operations
Craig brings a broad scope of woodworking design and expertise to the Millcraft business, complimented by his George Brown College diploma in Industrial Woodworking, Furniture Production and Design. Craig has an extensive background and history with Millcraft since he joined the production team in 1985. Craig has been responsible for the daily wood shop production since 1988 utilizing over 25 years of experience in the production of highest quality curved wood products and custom millwork for the window and door industry.
In Memory of Doug Young
April 25, 1961 – April 8, 2016
Doug will be remembered for his joyful, uplifting spirit, and his desire to make people smile and laugh – a longtime friend and colleague who was always laughing and joking. Doug joined our team as accounts manager in June 2009, and was well known by many of our customers and suppliers. Doug was the proud father of two wonderful children, Katelyn and Derek, and married for 31 years to his loving wife, Diane. Though he is not with us anymore, he will forever be remembered in our hearts.
